Back to Visions

Glynnis Heather Bonifacio is a Los Angeles-based graphic designer who loves cats! She has an interest in layout design, typography, branding, and packaging. As a designer, she would describe her personal style as elegant, minimalistic, and playful, with a feminine touch. In addition to graphic design, she also enjoys anything crafty that she can get her hands on and truly appreciates the process of creating!

What does your Visions logo mean to you?

My logo’s concept represents my love for sunsets and takes on a very playful, yet elegant feel. The flowy lines, as well as the ligatures symbolizes the motion of ocean waves, while the color palette portrays the gradient skies during this time of day.

What inspires you creatively?

Much of my work is inspired by nature, as it truly keeps my creative mind flowing. Sometimes, I will be on a hike, at the beach watching the sunset, or simply sitting on my couch looking at the different colors in the sky from my window and I think to myself, “I’ve been so blessed to be able to see how beautiful this is.” Nature is just unbelievably exquisite and I love to incorporate that beauty within my work.

If you weren’t a graphic designer, what would you be?

If I weren’t a graphic designer, it would be a dream to create content for stationery art because I enjoy anything crafty and hands-on. I would also love to be an interior designer/decorator!

What project are you the most proud of and why?

The work I am most proud of is my brand identity project for BLOOM, a customizable jean company that promotes body positivity. Not only am I a true believer of the overall message this brand presents, but I’m also very proud of the amount of detail and thought I had incorporated towards the illustrations, typography, logo, textures, as well as the color palette, in order to ensure that the message along with the specialization of the brand is portrayed in every part of the identity.
