What does your Visions logo mean to you?

The fluidity within the characters in my logo is a representation of my work that is intuitively designed, letting my imagination flow with natural and easy navigation. The shades of saturated RGB blues are the colors I cater to when designing because it’s calming yet bold and energizing. Lastly the differentiation of fine lines is inspired by my small business where I utilize various sizes of yarn skeins.

Outside of graphic design, what do you enjoy doing?

During the pandemic, I fell in love with the art of tufting custom rugs! This outlet has allowed me to bring my graphic abilities to life in creating fun household art pieces for my small business. With fun and quirky fonts that don’t quite make the cut for my final projects, I love to incorporate those with my rugs.

When did you know you wanted to study graphic design?

I’ve always been drawn to art for as long as I can remember. When I joined my high school art program I learned the basics of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. I remember asking myself, “Could I really make brochures and vector illustrations for the rest of my life?”. Haha, here I am in my last semester with way more knowledge that I didn’t know was possible.

What is the dream project for you?

I am a HUGE matcha and coffee enthusiast~ so probably to brand and open my own coffee shop. Maybe selling some of my own baked goods as well. I would really love to create custom packaging, menus, stickers, labels, loyalty cards, online ordering app, coffee sleeves, coffee cups… the list goes on.
