Back to Visions

Kristina Armendariz Moore has a BFA in Graphic Design with disciplines in branding, art directing, typography, and UX/UI design. Her design beginnings came through her affinity for packaging and typography. What does your Visions logo mean to you?

My logo was influenced by handcraft and machine. I’ve always naturally gravitated towards the values of craftsmanship, but what I love about graphic design is the ability to achieve the appearance of something digitally that I might not have the skills or materials to achieve by hand.

What inspires you creatively?

Films, fashion, books, music, other creatives.

If you weren’t a graphic designer, what would you be?

Maybe a writer or if I’m being really ambitious, a lawyer or detective. I watched a lot of crime shows growing up.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced and how did you overcome it?

I’ve definitely been my own biggest challenge to overcome, which I’m sure is true for many other creatives out there. For me, it’s been about learning not to let my fears and insecurities debilitate me. Things are never as complicated as they seem.
